The KFF Singapore Badminton Open 2025 concluded on 1 June after an electrifying week filled with world-class badminton, national pride, and celebration. Held at the iconic Singapore Indoor Stadium from 27 May to 1 June, this premier BWF World Tour Super 750 event returned with even greater energy — and JK Technology was proud to step up once again as the official presenting sponsor.

  • Loh Kean Yew, Singapore’s highest-ranked men’s singles player (World Rank 10), delivered an exciting run to the quarterfinals before narrowly bowing out to France’s Christo Popov.

    Result: Set 1: 21 (France) – 10 (SG), Set 2: 21 (France) – 14 (SG). 
     
    Loh’s consistent presence in the world’s top tier highlights his elite standing and promise for the future.

  • In women’s singles, Yeo Jia Min (World Rank 11) showed great resilience in the Round of 16 against eventual champion An Se Young of Korea. 
     
    Result: Set 1: 21 (Korea) – 14 (SG), Set 2: 21 (Korea) – 13 (SG). 
     
    Her performance underscores her rising influence as one of Asia’s top badminton talents. 

  • Singapore’s mixed doubles pair, Jin Yu Jia and Hee Yong Kai Terry, also showcased their skills, although they exited in the Round of 32 against a strong Indonesian duo. 
     
    Result: Set 1: 21 (Indonesia) – 14 (SG), Set 2: 21 (Indonesia) – 9 (SG). 
     
    Their participation reflects Singapore’s ongoing commitment to growing its depth in doubles disciplines.

Dominated by powerhouse badminton nations such as Thailand and China, the tournament saw:

  • Kunlavut Vitidsarn (Thailand) clinch the men’s singles gold.

  • Chen Yu Fei (China) took home the women’s singles gold. 

  • The mixed doubles title secured by Dechapol Puavaranukroh & Supissara Paewsampran (Thailand)
